The story that I compared Snow White to was Cinderella. Cinderella went through so many obstacles to be herself and happy. She had people trying to dim her shine and in the end they could not break something that was unbreakable. Cinderella also had someone that came into the story to make things better. She had her fairy Godmother that changed the sequence of the story to make her feel better. And Snow White had the 7 dwarfs and her prince charming.
They have many more similarities that no one notices until they watch Cinderella and Snow White back to back. Cinderella has more of a happy ending and more things to be happy for. She and her Stepmother never have to talk again also her 2 stepsisters do not get to be with her.

I like your comparisons but they are missing some depth. Its all good though. good job

ReplyDeleteI never really noticed the similarities but i like how you pointed it out clear cut. I feel like just a little more writing would have made this a really great post it was still good though.
